The background cracks of the painting created with the effects of flour represent the withered tree trunk, signifying its sacrifice to give rise to a new beautiful life.
Like a candle that burns to lighten the world, and a dying wood that gives rise to a new flower, it is because of the very sacrifice by parents to raise their own children, that there exists a bright and hopeful future.
All these small and big sacrifices of the world come together to create the image of “Natural Sound.”
As creative and as the techniques are, the processes involved in this painting are quite complicated and painting with liquid acid dye on silk is actually not so easy. The techniques used consist of the cracks created with flour and the repeated process of dyeing and resisting on silk until just the right color appears.
